Inogen has been a leader in the portable oxygen concentrator industry, producing one of the first portable oxygen concentrators in 2004. Since the original Inogen One concentrator, Inogen has improved their design. The recently redesigned Inogen One G3 is one of the smallest, lightest portable concentrators currently available. This device was designed to provide users with the highest level of independence. This is the upgraded 2016 model with a 1-5 setting (versus the previous 1-4 setting capability).

The Inogen One G3 weighs less than 5.7 pounds with the included upgraded 16 cell battery (versus the 8 cell unit normally sold). The G3 unit comes with a carry bag that can be worn over your shoulder for easy transportation. The batteries were made and tested to be long lasting. The 16 cell battery can last up to 7 to 8 hours on a setting of 2. The rechargeable batteries also have a quicker than normal recharge time at around 6 hours for the 16 cell battery. The dimensions of this unit are only 7.25 inches tall, 3 inches wide and 8.75 inches long; making it one of the smallest sized concentrators ever produced. Another great feature is that the unit can be recharged at any time.

It is a pulse dose portable concentrator that operates on setting from 1 to 5 with oxygen concentration levels at around 90%. The noise level is barely noticeable at only 39 decibels at a 2 setting.. It is so quiet that you can use it in a public setting without creating a disturbance (even church). It also features an easy to read LCD screen that displays flow settings and battery life.
